  since he disregarded the elders' "encouragement" to turn down the fellowship offer from harvard, he's being deleted as a ministerial servant.. he leaves in august.. i'm so happy for and proud of him!.

  wt eventually admit their purpose and motive in printing junk..... russia however doesnt buy it !.

  did any of you ever hear stories or myths about faithful jws that when in prayer had been protected from something bad happening to them?.

  maybe like the story i heard about the two sisters out in service who were about to be attacked by a viscous dog?

  How can someone/thing help or protect you if they don't exist?

  The wash-towels version jaybooger doesn't exist and that’s what's so dangerous; he doesn't have any power, will or protection to give but people are being led to believe he does and are putting their trust/lives in the hands of a publishing corporation’s mythical character.

  i'm sort of following a stream of consciousness so bear with me.

  i was flipping around on tv and ran across an old movie.

  a couple had a one night stand and when she realized he had just used her she was shocked and told him he had said he loved her.

  I have to brag about my kid

  alex, our youngest graduated cum laude from the university of washington today with a bachelor's in environmental science and a minor in quantitative analysis.

  he has a job in his field.

  he and his fiance, who also graduated today (biology) are getting married july 1. she's starting a phd program at berkeley in august, so they're moving.

  No.

  The only real happiness I've ever experienced has been when I'm naughty and do non-wash-towel things or hang out with non-witless friends.

  I don't know how any JW woman/girl in their right mind can honestly say that they are, or were, happy; I don't find it happifying to be told, and then treated like, I'm a worthless piece of shit.

  I don't think it will have much of an impact at all.

  The only one's "in" who know the difference are the closet apostates and they aren’t gonna say shit.

  The $ociety will gloss over it, or sick their spin doctors on it, and all the brainwashed witlesses will just keep in living in oblivious ignorance.

  The truth is there will always be massive scars where your wound once was; so even though you have "recovered", and say you no longer care, you can't help but think about it from time to time because of the irremovable scars.
